APP Board of Directors' Elections Announcement for Directors and President-Elect
As a leading association in the risk management domain, APP is at the forefront of shaping the future of our industry. Given the ever-evolving challenges in risk and compliance within the payments ecosystem, it is essential to have strong, effective leaders who are committed to our mission of safeguarding the payment ecosystem through education, collaboration, and leadership.
With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that the APP Board of Directors elections process for Directors and the next President-Elect is underway.
Open Positions:
- Director
Directors provide strategic insight and guidance for the association, serve on Board committees or task forces, ensure financial stewardship, support and advance association goals, and attend monthly meetings.
- Term: Two (2) years, beginning June 1, 2026
- Term limits: No more than two consecutive terms
- President-Elect
The President-Elect assists the Chief Elected Officer and is expected to assume the presidency following a one-year term.
- Term: Four (4) years total
- One (1) year as President-Elect beginning June 2026
- Two (2) years as President
- One (1) year as Immediate Past President
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for any of these officer roles, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the payments industry, either as an employee or independent contractor, and currently employed
- Maintain an active, good-standing membership with APP
- Obtain support and consent from your company to assume the leadership role
