At the Association of Payment Professionals (APP), we’ve always believed that great things can start over a cup of coffee—and now, we’re making more space for those meaningful conversations.

We’re excited to introduce Coffee Connect, a new member benefit launching this month. You might already be familiar with our Coffee Connect tradition at the annual APP conference—a cozy pre-event gathering that brings members together for real conversations and shared laughs. That tradition traces all the way back to APP’s beginnings, when a few dedicated professionals came together over coffee and donuts to talk shop, swap stories, and support each other. From those casual conversations, APP was born.

Coffee Connect builds on that spirit, offering a series of virtual meet-ups throughout the year for APP members to connect in a low-pressure, friendly environment. These aren’t webinars or presentations—they’re conversations. Each session will focus on a different role, topic, or member group so that no matter where you are in your payments journey, you can find community with others who understand what you’re going through.

We’re kicking things off with meet-ups for Underwriters and Next Gen Leaders—two groups that often face big challenges and could benefit from connecting with others in similar roles. Friendly APP volunteers will host each meet-up and help guide the conversation. You’ll also hear from seasoned members and career experts who can offer perspective, answer questions, and help you feel a little more grounded in your professional journey.
