APP is Partnering with Visa!

APP will be heading to Austin for the first time as they host us at their offices. The agenda is taking shape.

Regionals are a wonderful way to have your whole staff experience an APP event and advance their knowledge journey with APP. The cost is low, the educational impact is high, and there are network opportunities to talk to others experiencing the same challenges and joys as yourself.

  • Breaches in the ecommerce world often involve TPSPs just like in the early days of POS system breaches-think remote access, etc.
  • There are more complexities now. What are the implications?
  • PCI DSS V4.0.1 puts a big emphasis on TPSPs
  • Updated requirements on encryption keys
  • Updated requirements on passwords/passphrases for customer
    accounts
  • More scrutiny on scoping properly to make sure nothing is missed-
    confirm and update scope every 6 months!
  • Requirements to implement Intrusion detection and prevention
