Kevin Lambrix Reelected as Chief Financial Officer of the Association of Payment Professionals for a Second Term

The Association of Payment Professionals (APP) is thrilled to announce the reelection of Kevin Lambrix to a second term as Chief Financial Officer, where he will continue to serve as the Treasurer. His new term is set to begin on June 1st, 2024, and will extend for three years, underscoring the Board's confidence in his leadership and financial stewardship.

Kevin joined the APP Board in 2017 as an Advisor, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the association. In 2022, he was elected Treasurer, a role in which he has since made significant contributions to the APP, especially during the challenging post-pandemic years. His foresight and strategic thinking have been instrumental in navigating the association through new challenges that emerged in the aftermath of the pandemic, ensuring the APP's resilience and continued growth. Kevin introduced and oversaw APP upgrade of its accounting reports providing the Board of Directors with greater insight, transparency, and details.

One of Kevin's early initiatives was proposing a collaboration that led to the formation of the new Fraud Strategic Interest Group (SIG), a forum for members to discuss and address common challenges. This initiative has been crucial in enhancing the association's ability to tackle fraud, a testament to Kevin's innovative approach to problem-solving.

Despite the APP's annual conference, 'Level Up,' missing a year of live in-person interaction due to the pandemic, Kevin's leadership shone through as he chaired the Revenue Diversification Task Force. Under his guidance, the task force explored new avenues for the APP to serve its members, culminating in the launch of the groundbreaking M@Cademy in 2023. This initiative has not only provided valuable resources to members but has also opened new revenue streams for the association.

Kevin has been an active volunteer within the APP community. He has chaired the East Regional Sub-Committee, contributed to the Bank Consortium SIG and the Government Relations SIG, and shared his insights on panels at events. His dedication to the association and its members is evident in every aspect of his service.

The Board's reelection of Kevin Lambrix for a second term as CFO/Treasurer reflects their collective belief in his vision, leadership, and ability to guide the APP toward a bright and prosperous future. We are excited to see how his continued guidance will further enhance the association's financial health and its ability to serve our members effectively.

Kevin continues to be excited about working with the volunteers and staff of the APP. Kevin believes the success of the APP is not tied to one individual, rather, it is the collective effort of the volunteers and staff that continue to make APP an impactful organization. He looks forward to working with new volunteers that share the same passion for the mission of the APP.
