The company provides full lifecycle asset management, including hardware distribution, repair, refurbishment, key injection, software loading, and customized deployment services. It serves thousands of customers globally and operates out of a large facility in Tennessee. The Opportunity
This is an inside sales role focused on selling POS hardware, software, and related services to merchants, resellers, and channel partners. The position combines account management with new business development and requires a consultative sales approach. You will manage inbound inquiries, generate outbound opportunities, and build a pipeline from quote to close. Initial accounts will be provided to support ramp up, with the expectation that you will grow and develop a larger book of business over time. This is a highly technical sales environment that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex product ecosystems.
Responsibilities
• Sell POS hardware including terminals, pin pads, peripherals, and accessories.
• Manage inbound sales inquiries and generate outbound opportunities.
• Qualify customer needs including environment, connectivity, compliance, and deployment scale.
• Recommend solutions across hardware, software, and services.
• Build and manage a pipeline from quote to close.
• Follow up on quotes, backorders, and open orders to drive revenue.
• Educate customers on compatibility, certifications, and product lifecycle.
• Support promotions, bundle offers, and hardware refresh initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP systems.
• Collaborate with operations and logistics for order fulfillment.
• Build long term relationships and grow existing accounts.
• Attend trade shows, partner events, and customer meetings.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
Qualifications, skills, and experience
Required
• Inside sales experience in hardware, technology, or B2B sales.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar.
• Ability to manage multiple SKUs, quotes, and customer requests.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Highly detail oriented with strong follow through.
• Ability to understand technical products across hardware and software.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn.
• Curious, inquisitive, and solutions oriented mindset.
• Ability to map customer needs to complex product ecosystems.
Nice to Have
• Experience in merchant services, payments, fintech, or SaaS.
• Familiarity with POS systems, payment terminals, or retail hardware.
• Knowledge of PCI, EMV, or device certification processes.
• Experience working with VARs, ISOs, ISVs, or distribution partners.
• Experience in inventory based or quote driven sales environments.
• Experience selling complex, multi product solutions.
Travel
Travel is required after the ramp up period. The role includes attending approximately six trade shows annually, along with vendor and client visits.
Location
The role is based in Memphis, Tennessee. Onsite work is preferred, but remote flexibility is available. Standard office hours are 9 am to 5 pm.
Management
This is an individual contributor role on a lean and collaborative team.
Reports to
This role reports to sales and operations leadership.
Employment Type
This is a full time, W2, direct hire position.
